“Sitting smart on the Mediterranean, it sparkles just as brilliantly as the more easterly French Riviera, but without the fuss and most welcome of all, without the crowds."

Erica and John fell in love with the house and Neffiès at first sight. Having taken time to restore this ‘Maison de Vigneron’ or winegrowers house, we now occupy the ground floor of the three-story building along with our young Eurasier puppy ‘Moose’ – the next generation B&B host who follows in the pawprints of Bear & Pudsey (RIP). We, together with Mosse, very much look forward to welcoming you.

Originally built in the late 1800’s, it housed the family, animals and of course the cave for producing wine. We’ve been told that, during WWII, it was home to a leading member of the French Resistance, who assisted many a British Ally. As such, our builders excavated with caution – fearing what items they might come across!

The high ceilings, tall shuttered windows, terracotta floors, original beams, ironwork and exposed stone walls remain. The house is cool, light and airy with plenty of original artwork dotted around. Our guests have exclusive use of the entire first and second floors.

Maison Dix has been designed, decorated and furnished for your comfort. We want you to enjoy the whole house – not just your guest room. Unwind or catch-up with others in the guest lounge, stay ‘connected’ with Wi-Fi, or relax in the guest den with TV/DVD and a library of books and films.
